Deleting your LPORT account

You can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app: Settings → Recovery email → Delete account. It asks for your password and your username, and takes effect straight away.

What goes: your account, posts, comments and the replies under them, direct messages, one-to-one conversations, uploads, votes, follows, blocks, bookmarks, course watches, LWALLET taps, notifications and confession submissions. Group chats carry on for the people still in them, and a released confession stays published with no link to you left.

Encrypted database backups and server logs are kept for up to 30 days, so a copy may exist there for that long before it rotates out. Records of moderation actions about the account are kept for up to 12 months. Copies or screenshots other people already saved or shared outside LPORT cannot be deleted from here.
